I have been in the painting industry for over twenty years. I started painting in college to make ends meet and eventually operated a College ProPainters outlet, a sister company of CertaPro. Upon graduating from Clarkson University in upstate New York, I moved to Austin to work for The Westinghouse Motor Company in Round Rock. While at Westinghouse, I obtained my M.B.A from St. Edwards University and gained the position of Strategic Alliance Manager. Needless to say, I have had plenty of experience and schooling relating to the importance of a quality product and quality customer service.
During the past eleven years, we completed over three thousand projects in the Austin area. The Austin franchise has been recognized for outstanding sales, and we have been “complaint free” for the years 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009. Upon graduating from Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business, I moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota to start work as a Business Analyst at Target Corporation’s national headquarters. In July of 2004 I was transferred to Austin and promoted to Executive Manager at the store level. Needless to say, I have had plenty of experience and schooling relating to the importance of a quality product and quality customer service! After a couple long years in retail, I found myself eagerly seeking a career change. I was struck by the professionalism, experience, and quality assurance that CertaPro Painters provides and excitedly joined the Austin team. I enjoy the opportunity to deal with great people every day and share a role in developing their painting needs into a beautiful reality.
